Reeve Currie was no stranger to the world of weddings (she happens to be the Associate Digital Editor for our sister site wibride.com!) so it's no surprise that her outdoor summer wedding to Tyler Klatt went off without a hitch. The two met in seventh grade and their instant connection to each other became a longtime friendship that paved the way for their romance. Five years after they began dating, the pair celebrated their beautiful wedding day against a breathtaking outdoor backdrop, surrounded by friends and family. The bride's sweet yet classic gown and cascading bouquet were perfectly complemented by the natural setting, while bridesmaids in mismatched gowns of varying neutral hues created an effortless and rustic vibe. Thoughtful details like custom sachets of dried lavender (for guests to shower the happy couple with good wishes up the aisle), handpainted wooden signage, and a quick post-ceremony cold brew coffee from the coffee and tea cart made the day truly unique to the couple. After dinner, dancing ensued both indoors and out, with guests breaking here and there for a yard game or two. This sweet pair celebrated with their guests into the night, and departed with a sparkling sendoff and beaming smiles.

From the bride:

I have always dreamed of an outdoor wedding and put my heart and soul into creating a budget-friendly, dreamy outdoor ceremony. A morning downpour the day of our wedding had us rushing to make other plans - but thirty minutes before the ceremony, the sun came out and dried up the lawn just as our guests began to arrive. Walking down the outdoor aisle was everything I hoped it would be: everyone’s smiling faces, a gentle breeze, and blue skies overhead. Nearby oak trees gave enough shade for our guests, and we also provided them with handheld Korean fans, a nod to part of my husband’s ethnicity. After we were announced, we ran up the aisle and our family and friends tossed handfuls of dried lavender on us, making the air smell sweet. Between the ceremony and dinner in the barn, guests played lawn games and drank iced coffee and tea from the Coffee Cart, as well as nibbled on fresh strawberries (the berries the farm is known for). Tyler and I walked around the farm with our photographer and celebrated the (unbelievable!) fact that we were now married! After a delicious Italian dinner, we cut the cake as our guests chose between a handful of fun donut flavors. We ended the evening dancing, one of our favorite activities, first in the barn and then out on the lawn as the night air cooled.
