Inspired by their favorite date night at the Bridgerton Experience, Brey Fure and Mohamed Kamara’s sunny wedding day was filled with Regency- style romance at The Van Dusen Mansion. “Bridgerton” was not their sole inspiration for the day, as they made sure to intentionally center the color palette and décor around their daughter, Leone Violet. Incorporated in the purples of the light English garden florals as well as the three violets representing their family featured on their stationery, Leone was an important part of planning their wedding—even getting her own “first look” moment showing off her flower girl dress to Mo. Brey stunned in a soft off-the-shoulder gown with lace appliqué details, looking every bit the “Diamond of the Season.” Highlights of the newlyweds’ evening included singing with their daughter as they cut the cake and their private last dance during which they were able to take a moment to themselves. Reflecting on their day, Brey’s piece of advice was to “incorporate your partner in as many details of the wedding as possible, so you can say, ‘We did this together.’ ... Also, don’t forget to eat your cake!”
