Effortlessly melding Karl's love for wildflowers and landscaping with Caroline's affinity for classic aesthetics, their wedding day at The Whim was a lush reflection of their easygoing personalities. Utilizing the minimalist venue to its full potential, a jaw-dropping botanical installation sprawled from the cornered altar space, appearing as if it had been growing there for months. Enhancing the refined garden scene, stems of garden roses, tuberose, delphinium and queen Anne’s lace lined the aisle and peppered the textured foliage. Caroline stunned in an ensemble that mirrored the simple elegance of her tastes, while Karl embraced playfulness in a navy suit and sage tie. Their sweet pup Walter walked down the aisle, a leafy collar around his neck, and the happy couple became husband and wife against an ethereal greenhouse-like backdrop. Opting for tones of taupe, gray and cream, the reception palette pulled from natural stone hues, while smoke glass chargers and glassware echoed the black window accents. With natural sunlight streaming in and their loved ones sipping on espresso martinis and Aperol spritzes, Caroline and Karl celebrated the first day of forever in style.
