Jill and David's Minneapolis wedding is full of customized details that celebrate the bride's home state of Minnesota. The couple wanted to wow their guests from NYC and around the world by including the very best MPLS has to offer on their special day. They hosted an entire wedding weekend that featured a cocktail party Thursday evening at the Minneapolis Loews Hotel, a rehearsal dinner (featuring an 8-course tasting menu) at La Belle Vie on Friday, a Saturday afternoon ceremony, a reception at the Minneapolis Club, an after party at Seven Steakhouse, and brunch at Cosmos. Add in a few MN-shaped cookie favors and these guests were good to go!

From the couple:

We live in NYC, but decided to get married in Jill’s hometown of Minneapolis. Knowing that our guests would be traveling from all over the country (and world), we particularly wanted to show the city off!  Guests took advantage of Lake Calhoun, the Stone Arch Bridge, and the Mall of America. The bride was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents and the couple who had been married the longest (50+ years!) signed our marriage certificate during the ceremony. We also lit a unity candle with our entire family. Original ideas for the reception included NYC neighborhoods for table names, custom logo water bottles with a play on the “I [Heart] NY” motif, “Love” sculpture escort card holders, custom flip-flops and bride-and-groom loons for the cake topper.
