Four years of friendship while students at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University set up Abby Stahl and Paul Zipoy for success when they started dating after graduation. They chose the Calhoun Beach Club as their reception venue for its clean, crisp look and timeless, elegant feel. “Minneapolis has some fabulous venues to choose from,” Abby says, “but the Calhoun Beach Club was always at the top of the list.” Abby describes her wedding day as perfect, but the highlight for her went beyond the gorgeous décor. “Seeing Paul for the first time is a memory and a feeling I could never forget,” she says. “We both often recall feeling so blessed to be married to our best friend, surrounded by all of our closest family and friends who mean the world to us.”
