Lucy Rogers and Frank Ragnow met in high school and were “just friends,” but Frank always told her they would get married someday. Despite attending different colleges, Lucy would make the trip from Madison, Wisconsin, with high school friends to cheer on Frank playing football in Arkansas, and by senior year in college, the friendship had turned romantic. A year and a half later, they were walking in Excelsior Commons on Lake Minnetonka as a hidden photographer waited for Frank to get on one knee. Following her enthusiastic “Yes!” came a surprise cruise with friends and family. Ashery Lane Farm was an idyllic backdrop for their wedding, which featured a sophisticated palette of whites and creams with greenery. After the ceremony, the newlyweds took some alone time to enjoy the first sweet moments of marriage. Loved ones from every stage of life were in attendance. “They all have made us who we are, and it was so amazing for them to be together to celebrate us,” Lucy says.
