Every little bit of this sweet rustic wedding is sincere and personalized. The idyllic Gibbs Farm Museum, nestled away in St. Paul, served beautifully as an outdoor venue with tons of character. The couple succeeded in infusing representations of themselves and their families throughout their event. The bride repurposed her grandmother's wedding gown into a lovely tea-length dress which suited the theme of the affair perfectly. A little retro, a little rustic, this adorable pair crafted a unique day that celebrated their individual personalities, as well their relationship.
From the bride:
Being a little wedding crazed I had spent quite a bit of time online (prior to our engagement) obsessing and drooling over the DIY style and barn weddings on various blogs. My husband and I both knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding, something casual with lots of personal touches; a slightly classy, backyard/barn wedding with a retro feel if you will. We wanted our wedding to be very us. Being that I was wearing my grandma's dress from 1960 we definitely wanted to incorporate that time period by adding vintage detailing, including my vintage Schwinn.
