Honeymoon: Western Caribbean Cruise
When asked how Michelle met Mike, she cited an event in Rochester, “A weekly summer market…where you can find arts, crafts, and food. I found my husband!” It was this meet cute that inspired them to get married in downtown Rochester as well. The décor accented the beauty of the Rochester Art Center without overshadowing it, using a monochrome backdrop with gold and emerald accents. A rendition of “This I Promise You” by N*Sync was featured during the ceremony, a personal favorite of the two. Another focal point of the couple nuptials was Mike’s 9-year old daughter, Avalynn. She had her own moment walking down the aisle and was highlighted in each of their vows. During cocktail hour, the wedding party dipped out for a bit for a trolley ride to a rooftop bar; inspired by one of Mike and Michelle’s first dates. They made the reception their own by opting for a sweets table in lieu of a cake to ensure there was something for everyone to enjoy. The rest of the evening was filled with laughs and only the best dance moves.
