Transporting its Midwest guests to the heart of Italy one glass at a time, the Tuscany-inspired Villa Bellezza Winery was the perfect venue for this moody styled shoot. Lisa Gadient, owner of Huldra Floral, crafted elegant displays of fall flowers within a rich rosewood and mauve color palette. The mixture of dark and light stems and an assortment of floral textures contrasted the airy atmosphere of the winery. A wide burgundy ribbon tied around the bridal bouquet carried the fall theme down the length of her form-fitting, off-the-shoulder gown, while a dark green tie elevated the groom’s otherwise traditional wedding attire and wonderfully complemented the pops of greenery included in the ceremony arch—an explosion of warm colors that seemed to glow as the sun made its way below the horizon. Atop golden chargers illuminated by the tablescape’s soft candlelight sat sophisticated, black and white menus and a single, romantic stem. With its dramatic floral arrangements, this picturesque autumn design seeks to inspire the newlyweds who wish to incorporate warmth and grandeur in their celebration.
The cool tones remind me of the fall sky and cool weather, while the warm tones represent the lingering warmth and colors of the trees.
