From the photographer:

Blair and Danny should have met years before they did. They both knew the same friends and families since they were young kids and both grew up in the same tight knit Minneapolis community. But, it was not until the Fall of 2009 when Blair and Danny were finally introduced by the same friends that they had both known for so long. Minneapolis means so much to Blair and Danny because it is where they both grew up, where they met, where they are building a life together and where they plan to stay for the rest of their lives.

Danny picked the Sculpture Garden, right in front of the iconic Cherry in the Spoon, as the place where he wanted to propose to Blair. When it came time to plan the wedding, Blair and Danny decided to have their prenuptial dinner at the Walker Arts Center to bring it full circle to where they got engaged and the next day, Blair & Danny, along with the wedding party, took pictures at the Walker Arts Center. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at Windows on Minnesota, which was the perfect venue because of the spectacular views of Minneapolis. It really encapsulates how beautiful Minneapolis is. Blair and Danny also designed their Ketubah to resemble the Minneapolis skyline. For their color palette they chose shades of purple, giving the flowers and room an ombre effect. Blair's favorite color is pink, so she wore a blush dress and shoes to add touches of pink to the day.
