This intimate wedding at the Aster Cafe showcases a gorgeous couple and one of the best views in Minneapolis. Featuring crisp white floral designs and a scrumptious looking menu at their St. Anthony Main event, Alice and Freddie put their own personal spin on their special day. I love the sparing use of teal accents (like the bride's scalloped heels by SJP!), the silk ribbon backdrop and the decision to skip a traditional bridal party in favor of "honored friends" dressed in their own attire. I also adore the portraits on the brick streets of St. Anthony Main, with the perfect after-storm lighting.
From the photographer:
Alice and Freddie were set up by a mutual friend. They were married on a stormy day at the Aster Cafe in Minneapolis. The highlight of the ceremony was when Alice put the ring on Freddie's finger and at that exact moment, the loudest crack of thunder rang out. Everyone had goosebumps! After the ceremony the skies cleared and we went out to take some sunset shots. We danced the night away to a live band and by the end of the night, Freddie was welcoming in passers-by who were hanging out in St. Anthony Main.
