Marissa Engelson and Tim Obrecht combined details from their two favorite locations, Maui and Pike Lake, to create a vibrantly unique wedding day at Pike Lake Golf & Beach Club. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a margarita bar and given sandals to comfortably walk to the sandy lakeside ceremony. Brightly colored rugs and florals in a pretty palette of pinks and oranges lined the aisle leading to the grand installation of bold blooms that perfectly framed the couple for “I do’s.” To celebrate the first few moments as husband and wife, Marissa and Tim hopped in a vintage boat for a cruise before cocktail hour with sweet and savory waffles and music by a string quartet. Disco balls, glitzy linens and custom touches galore decorated the grand reception space, adding to the fun atmosphere. Guests were entertained with cornhole boards, campfires by the lake, s’mores stations and two photo booths to document the lively affair. From start to finish, Marissa and Tim’s tropical-inspired celebration was a flawless representation of the couple and their favorite places.
