Sarah Elston and Samuel Wiener grew up only 13 miles from one another, but didn’t meet until college at Hamline University. They knew one another from classes and campus events, but it was sports that really brought them together, as Samuel played baseball and basketball for the university, and Sarah was on the dance and cheer team. These days, the couple can often be found cheering on their other favorite Minnesota teams, or just enjoying all of the great things about life in the Twin Cities. Some of the best moments of Sarah and Samuel’s wedding day were the small connections with family and friends: the look on the bridesmaids’ faces when they saw Sarah in their dress, the sight of Samuel so perfect and handsome in his suit, and the way it felt when they squeezed one another’s hands as they finally met at the end of the aisle.
