CORTNEY & JOEL’S ULTIMATE DREAM WEDDING GIVEAWAY | “Living On Love”
A professional wedding venue and premier local caterer teamed up with the mission to #createWOW with the belief that “if you can ENVISION it, we can create it”, giving you an Ultimate Dream Wedding!
Alana (of Envision Catering & Hospitality) and Dan Riggs from Summit Hill Studios (Videographer and Radio DJ) came up with an idea to give one lucky engaged couple their dream wedding using Facebook and social media to inspire the “wow factor” in couples wanting to win. The genius was not only in their creative talent to partner with local vendors to piece together a wedding that would be worth over $40K, but also in finding a deserving couple who couldn't afford it. Envision creative team launched a campaign to get couples to send in videos and Cortney and Joel were selected as the deserving winning couple.
Cortney is a neo-natal nurse, putting her fiancé through college and a couple, they are both dedicated to rescuing pets. The two was married on a perfect snowy day in December against a backdrop of silvery snowflakes, ice sculptures and a magical interior design.
The collaboration included several professionals united in the making of a fairy tale: draping the high ceilings, up lighting the walls, satin chair covers, a large chandeliers, blue lighting beneath food displays, a custom Monogramed ice sculpture, and twinkle lights dripping from the shimmery ceiling aglow in blue and white, was all offset by a strong rustic wooden head table. Outside, the towering trees and falling snowflakes in the pale moonlight, beautifully complimented the winter wonderland interior.
While the venue decor reflected magical wintery fairy tale, the food was equally as pretty as it was tasty, including large centerpieces on rustic oak tables with granite, displaying international meats and cheese. It's a beautiful thing when heart and creative talent work together to give one couple their dream wedding. Not only did they give Cortney and Joel the dream they had wanted all their life, but they were able to share it with 200 guests as well. A gift well deserved by Cortney and Joel who ceate wow in their everyday lives, making it an easy decision for Envision (and their wedding sponsors) to pay it forward, telling their story about how they too are in the business to change the world and #createWOW.
The bride's bouquet was made with LED battery powered lights and Christmas ornaments with soft silvery touches. No attention to detail was spared when it came to matching the draping, the perfect wedding dress, bouquet, fur coat, the winter ice sculpture and snowflake tiered silver blue cake– a harbinger of a Christmas theme.

This wedding giveaway was extremely unique, not only for the fact that it was the prize of a contest, but also for the fact that it was the WHOLE wedding covered in the prize...Something like that is definitely a once in a lifetime oppertunity!
We will never be able to thank you guys enough for everything this meant to us!! You made our dreams come true and we honestly have no clue when we would have actually been able to afford to get married otherwise (other than going to a court house, which was not something we wanted to do).
