Lauren and Andy were married on a sunny August afternoon at the Manhattan Beach Lodge. A color palette of royal blue, crisp white and grey was accented perfectly with striped details to give the event a nautical yet classic feel. This couple had the right idea when it comes to weddings - get married on a gorgeous, sun-dappled shoreline against a backdrop of tall pinetrees, serve delicious-looking food and enjoy friends and family. We love to see a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a venue that so quintessentially represents Minnesota. This event looks like a fab, laid back party that any guest would be thrilled to attend on a late summer afternoon. The couple's grand exit on a "just married" boat is perhaps my favorite detail, the perfect end to a sweet and romantic day.
