Kristen Stark and Matt Caffrey met in Chicago, eventually moving to Minnesota to be near Kristen’s family. The pair love to spend weekends brunching and exploring different Twin Cities neighborhoods in search of their future home. On the day of the wedding, Kristen’s father picked her up in his 1937 Studebaker to drive her to the church, only to surprise her with the news that the vintage vehicle couldn’t be driven on the highway, so it was going to be back roads all the way from St. Louis Park to Northeast Minneapolis. With no A/C on a 90-degree day, Kristen had a brief moment of panic as the car began to overheat in traffic, but Dad made good on his promise and got her to the church right on time. The rest of the day went perfectly, and the Studebaker story is one that will no doubt be re-told for years by this couple, who love to make one another laugh.
