Chelsey Robertson and Thomas Sietsema met through mutual friends in New York City, but they wanted to host their wedding in Minnesota to honor Tom’s grandmother, who has always lived in Worthington, which is where Tom spent his childhood summers. Round Lake Vineyards & Winery was a quick 20-minute drive from her home, and it checked all the couple’s boxes for a dreamy reception venue. Even better, there were horses on the grounds, so Chelsey and her Texas family felt right at home. “It really made the day feel so magical,” Chelsey says. Their wedding was the first time their families had the chance to meet in person, which made the day that much more special. “The highlight was seeing all of our friends and family together for the first time,” Chelsey says. “We had family travel to Minnesota all the way from Brazil, Texas and the East Coast.”
