Emilie Clark and Joe Leach’s love story begins on a paper napkin. After a few times hanging out in group settings, he asked her on a date by handing her a napkin where he’d written the words “Would you like to date me?”—providing yes and no checkboxes for her response. Out to dinner a year and a half later, Emilie found a napkin tucked into her menu, this time posing the question: “Would you like to spend your life with me?” One of the couple’s favorite details of their wedding was the choreographed dance with their entire wedding party to LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” which they performed for the guests to kick off the reception, much to everyone’s surprise and delight. The couple’s planned winter honeymoon to Mexico was derailed for a wonderful reason—the news of Emilie’s pregnancy—a baby girl, born this summer.
