Che Bella was bursting out of the St. Paul space they’d been in for years. The hunt to find a new showroom took more than a year, but it was worth the wait, says owner Jennifer Meyer.

Their brand-new space in Minneapolis was originally a Cadillac dealership, and it took a lot of elbow grease to make it shine again. Meyer built new walls and floors to revamp the space and make the most of the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The dressing rooms are housed in a former elevator shaft, and a loft for the creative team was added so they could work on their signature accessory designs upstairs.

With so much more room for gowns, Meyer is excited about her exclusive bridal lines including Alvina Valenta, Jim Hjelm and Robert Bullock. “When I got married, I couldn’t afford the dress I fell in love with, so I want to offer a couture, boutique feel, but with affordable prices and great customer service,” says Meyer.

“And of course, we have the best accessories, which is still a huge part of our store,” she says. But don’t wait for your big trip down the aisle to come in and shop. “You don’t have to be a bride to come look for accessories,” she says with a smile.
