Wedding Date: May 27, 2017
Random crossing of paths seem to have been the theme in the recent weeks with our Real Weddings, and Youa and Koman are no different. The summer of 2002, they attended camp and it’s safe to say both developed a bit of a crush on each other. They wouldn’t meet again until a reintroduction at the Myth nightclub 5 years later. Their relationship did not pass friendship for another 10 years, when as Youa puts it, “God decided that it was time for us to take our friendship to the next level.” The wedding party started the morning at the St. Paul Hotel, then moved to the Landmark center for the first look, pictured on the steps at the front of the grand hall. The ceremony was basked in sunlight and filled with emotion. Crisp whites (including the groom’s Chuck Taylors) and delicate pinks adorned the aisles and later the reception. The couple were sent off with sparklers at the end of the night.
