The wedding day unfolded with a breezy romance, the soft peach and blush-hued roses peppered with delicate pops of lavender and blue delphinium in cascading floral arrangements. White and peach draping created a luminous effect about the ceremonial mandap, accented with lush blooms and set against a mirrored wall. Shipra and Grant were each walked down the aisle by their parents before participating in a ceremony that wove their Western and Hindu backgrounds with deep intentionality.
In what would end up being their favorite moment of their wedding day, Shipra and Grant took a private moment to themselves before rejoining their guests, taking in the surreal view of their loved ones gathered for cocktail hour against the scenic Bde Mka Ska. "The best advice we received was to intentionally take moments alone, and we’re so grateful we did. Those pauses allowed us to fully absorb what was happening rather than simply move through it," the pair reflect.
The reception unfolded with clusters of candles creating a warm glow against the sweet bud vases of playful florals. And for dessert, a three-tiered lemon and elderflower confection that reflected the elegant aesthetic of the décor. "One of our most meaningful moments was standing on the dance floor, surrounded by family and friends from every part of our lives, realizing that this gathering existed because of the life we were choosing together," the newlyweds reminisce.
