Wedding: October 4, 2015 Photographer: Mad Chicken Studio Ceremony: Private barn on Lester River, Duluth Reception: The Red Herring Lounge, Duluth
En route to get his first glimpse of Emily Modin in all her bridal finery, Charlie Comnick was pulled over for speeding. But once the officer heard the reason for his haste, all he gave Charlie was a hearty congratulations and sent him on his way. It was a fortuitous start to an effortlessly perfect day. The couple wanted a wedding that would serve as an authentic reflection of who they are, and they must have succeeded, as numerous guests commented on how the event was so “them” in every way. From Emily’s love of vintage jewelry and accessories to Charlie’s favorite sour beer on tap to one of their favorite musicians playing at the reception, the wedding was a celebration of their unique passions and interests.
