It's the adorable story that has been making people smile all week long. An irresistably cute pair of three-year-olds walk down the aisle as flower girl and ring bearer and 20 years later make the same trip, this time as husband and wife.
The couple are Minnesotans Briggs Hussy and Brittany Husbyn. The two didn't remember each other from the wedding all those years ago, but instead met in high school after recognizing each other from a portrait of the event that happened to hang in both of their family homes. Brittany brought it up in government class, and the rest is history.
The heartwarming story quickly spread across the country as it was picked up by The Huffington Post, People.com, Buzzfeed, New York Post and countless other news sites. Even superstar and hopeless romantic Zooey Deschanel got involved, sharing the link on her facebook page: "That time a flower girl and ring bearer got married and then we all cried."
Briggs and Brittany were married last weekend at the beautiful A'Bulae in St. Paul, and the event was captured by Alix Rae Photography. I can't believe how cute these two are. No wonder the whole country is getting warm fuzzies from their endearing story.
