Creative couple Jen Mundy and Tyler Bartel met online when they were just teenagers, both posting on a design and illustration website. They kept in touch, and one fine day decided to meet up in person. They hit it off, and the rest is sweet history. The couple incorporated that creative spirit into their wedding day, which included a lot of help from friends and family to make their vision a reality. “They moved mountains for us,” Jen says of their loved ones who climbed trees, hung backdrops and strung lights on the big day. “It didn’t even matter how the rest of the day went; just knowing we had the support of the people who mattered most to us was more than enough.” A special detail: Jen hand-painted miniature keepsakes for guests as favors. It took her months, but “it was totally worth it in the end.”
