Lauren Donnay and Jason Dest met their first week of college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. But it would be two years before the friendship turned into something more. They chose the Mill City Museum as their wedding venue because they fell in love with its outdoor courtyard and cool, urban vibe—and how different it was than other venues they had toured. Lauren filled the space with peonies, her favorite flower. The couple adored the space and the elegant décor, but even more, being surrounded by friends and family from all over the country. “It was so amazing to have everyone together in Minneapolis to celebrate with us,” Lauren says.
