October has some of the biggest wedding weekends of the year, and we love the Halloween weddings that start popping up toward the end of the month. Amanda and Luke wanted to host a low-key wedding - "we will not be following all the traditional wedding rules," said the bride."We have seen plenty of traditions; we will try to make this as true to us as possible."
After a ceremony under a huge oak tree at Mayowood Stone Barn, Amanda and Luke treated their guests to yard games, a bonfire, s'mores, drinks, dinner and dancing. Pumpkins winked frome every surface and a skeleton guarded the entrance to the barn. After a week of rain, fog lay over the grounds and added to the spooky fall atmosphere. The couple wanted a "ridiculously fun party" for their closest friends and family, and by the end of the night everyone agreed they had succeeded.
