In a scene for the senses, citrus took the starring role in this playful and modern design at Essence Event Center. Contrasting with the neutral color scheme of the venue, the bold opulence of oranges was balanced with swaths of soft white florals and verdant foliage. Green Goddess Floral crafted garden roses, ranunculus, daffodils, freesias and dyed eucalyptus into a grandiose altar as well as a cascading bouquet. Modern elements were intentionally incorporated with pops of sleek black displayed in candles and chairs to integrate the vibrant design into the industrial space.
An abundance of hand-crafted strings of orange slices were draped from the ceiling, evoking the essence of floriferous hanging vines. Clementines alongside Sumo and mandarin oranges were skewered into tiny towers along the serpentine tables and sculpted into whimsical structures alongside the water station. Full sized oranges were dangled above cylindrical lamp pendants in the effervescent shade du jour, forming a floating orange grove.
The hanging orange slice installation made an impactful statement and also made the room smell amazing.

Shades of apricot graced the dessert table in a three-tiered confection concocted by Hey There Cupcake, which hung from the ceiling amid swaying citrus slices. A refreshing amalgamation of fruit-forward style and lush blooms, this celebration delivers a delightfully tangy touch.
