Playful Celebration featuring Grape Details and Unique Florals in European Dinner Party Inspired Day at Rustic Roots Winery

From their start in June 2020, Katherine Torsiello and Thomas Hanson built a relationship centered on their love of music, the outdoors and food. A few summers later in Colorado, Tommy surprised Kat by taking her to the place they first said “I love you” and got down on one knee—while her entire family stood nearby in disguises to witness the special moment. The couple decided to host their wedding at Rustic Roots Winery because of the venue’s gorgeous scenery and wide-open feel. With the goal of crafting a celebration that felt like a European dinner party, the winery was the perfect choice. Romance could be felt in every single detail of the day’s design, from the perfectly simple invitations to the flowing, ruffled gown worn by the bride. Among the many ways the pair honored their loved ones who had passed away was the jaw-dropping, aquamarine ring worn by Kat that belonged to her Oma, or grandmother. Love was in the air as, just before the ceremony began, rain clouds parted and revealed a rainbow over the vineyard. Before entering the large white tent adorned with elegant draping, guests made a stop at the themed escort card display to find their names and seat assignments on motel keys. Inside, stunningly romantic arrangements of moody, fall-inspired florals and dried elements sat alongside stems in bud vases on every table. Through the florals, scattered bundles of grapes, pink pillar candles and unique table numbers that adorned every tablescape, the couple brought their loved ones with them for an elevated evening amid the vineyard setting.
