Mariah Indihar and Matthew Hagan’s lifetime of adventures together started when a mutual friend invited Matt to Mariah’s 25th birthday party. Dallas locals and avid travelers, the pair has visited Switzerland, Nantucket, Colorado, Las Vegas and many more destinations together, but no place holds just as much significance to them as Minnesota. Mariah’s family originates from Minnesota, where the couple visited together over several summers, making it the perfect place for a destination wedding. Instead of a rehearsal dinner, an enchanting and relaxing welcome party took place at Padelford Riverboats on the Mississippi River. For the wedding day, The Gardens of Castle Rock was the ultimate outdoor locale, with an expansive wooden trellis ensconced in vines and string lights. Mariah and Matt exchanged their vows surrounded by greenery in a scene straight from a fairytale. For the celebration’s design, the bride knew she wanted an array of vibrant hues. Hot pinks and pure oranges burst from the bouquets and adorned tables. Every candlestick, vase and decoration matched the cheery color scheme. Games were plated on the venue’s wide lawns, while the reception took place beneath an enchanting white tent. With local drinks and desserts like rhubarb pie, the couple took care to introduce Minnesota’s culture and beautiful natural environment to their Texan family members.
