On a picture-perfect summer evening, wedding professionals from across the state gathered at The Fillmore Minneapolis for the highly anticipated Best of 2025 awards celebration. This year’s theme, “The Sky’s the Limit,” came to life through immersive installations, vibrant entertainment and a dreamy palette of textures, light and florals — all designed to honor the industry’s finest talents.
Guests were welcomed with parking validation services by Uptown Valet before stepping into a celebration curated by the award-winning team at Rosetree Events. Inside the venue, the first thing to catch their eye was the dramatic statement tunnel designed by Bella Mystique — a showstopping entry that set the tone for the evening. Her creative vision continued to shine throughout the space, with a custom dance floor wrap, signage, menus and printed materials that wove the theme seamlessly into every moment.
Cocktail hour featured sweeping draping from ROJAS Ceiling Draping Decor, luxe rentals from Event Lab and Linen Effects and soft harp melodies by SK Harp Music, setting a sophisticated tone for the evening. An ethereal opening video by Redmond Digital Media played across the big screen as attendees mingled and toasted with pours, both alcoholic and NA, from Mousse Sparkling Wine Co., Parley Lake Winery and DryWit. Hors d’oeuvres by D’Amico Hospitality made the rounds as glamorous event footage was captured by Love Infinity, while behind-the-scenes content was shared in real-time by The Wedding Edit by Grace Myler Media. Photography throughout the evening was beautifully captured by Alexandra Robyn Photography and Design.
Throughout the space, creative installations from PHOS Events dazzled the eye, while Hana April Inc. added whimsical décor enhancements and an interactive bracelet station. The dance floor was punctuated by a glowing LED Marquee display by LED Marquee Twin Cities, echoing the vibrant sign outside the venue, which also proudly broadcast the night’s event. Dramatic lighting by Ignite Event Group washed the venue in color, while statement ice sculptures by Minnesota Ice added a cool and artistic edge. Florals played a starring role in the ambiance, with romantic and nature-inspired designs by Apricot Floral, Sadie’s Couture Floral, Candi’s Precious Petals and Green Goddess Floral elevating every vignette.
As the program began, emcee Mitch Buenger of Mitch and Jenna Weddings took the stage to lead the awards ceremony. The team from Minnesota Bride — including Publisher Brooke Beise, Editorial Director Lara Burnap and CEO Sonja Babich — looked stunning, thanks to hair and makeup by Michelle Dunlap Design and jewelry from Continental Diamond, while Lady Vamp Artistry ensured the planners were equally camera-ready. The Fillmore, as the venue host and bar provider, delivered a seamless transition from awards to after-party, with impeccable food service by D’Amico Hospitality and post-awards catering from Food Gallery.
The awards show flowed with top-notch AV provided by AV for You and a soundscape that kept the room buzzing. Following the final award, The Silver Alchemist band brought the dance floor to life while GenerationNOW DJ Entertainment kept the energy soaring in the second space of the event. Guests were also wowed by high-energy performances from Enticing Entertainment, whose aerialists brought a sense of spectacle to the night. Attendees refueled with mini bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes, a colorful cupcake spread by Hey There, Cupcake! and scoops of handcrafted ice cream from Jupiter Moon Ice Cream.
