From the photographer:
A love story born at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Elise and Seth first met at a fraternity and sorority bowling mixer. Shortly after, the two began to date. Their first date took place on a classic Californian Taco Tuesday. After their second date, Elise knew she never wanted to go on another date without Seth. Almost two years into their relationship, Seth brought Elise back to where they first met to propose to her. Following their engagement, they went out for celebratory tacos. The two got married in Elise’s hometown of Willmar, Minnesota. Their reception was held in her family’s airplane hangar, which was transformed into a dreamy venue. The couple wanted to make sure that their Californian guests were not only going to have an unforgettable evening, but a perfect trip to Minnesota. Hanging edison bulbs, greenery, and stunning florals were some of the prominent aspects of their decor. One of Elise’s favorite moments from her wedding day was watching the hangar door slowly open and seeing all of her and Seth’s guests look in awe at the transformed space. They looked around and knew that this was going to be a moment that they would never forget. Following a night filled with dancing and celebration, the couple hired a taco truck for late night tacos, another tribute to their first date. At the end of their stunning evening, the couple were whisked through a sea of sparklers to an awaiting plane which jetted them off to their wedding night in Minneapolis. They honeymooned in Hawaii for a couple weeks, enjoying beachtime and long hikes.
