Dramatic performances set the stage for an incredible celebration for the nuptials of Esha Syal and Prashant Godishala. The couple tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony in Mexico and continued the festivities with an unforgettable reception at Nicollet Island Pavilion (@nicolletislandpavilion) in Minneapolis. The historical building nestled on the Mississippi riverbank boasts an open atmosphere with tall industrial ceilings, charming brick walls and beautiful skyline views—the perfect backdrop for this immersive party. “We wanted this to feel like a continuation of that occasion by incorporating different aspects from that event,” Syal says. This showstopping scene was created by blending performance art with soft purple lighting, hanging lanterns and draping across the ceiling. The dreamlike atmosphere was furthered by the aerial silk performers who dazzled the guests throughout the night. “Don’t be afraid to incorporate unique elements like aerial performers to leave a lasting impression on your guests,” says Gabriella Panebianco with Mintahoe Catering & Events.
