Jack Malone-Povolny and Nicole Lahoz Arne first met in college, but it wasn’t until years later that the stars aligned for their friendship to turn into true love. After a proposal on Flag Day (Jack’s favorite holiday), the couple began their quest for a unique, relaxed wedding location. When they saw Architectural Antiques, they knew they had found the perfect setting. Charming and historic, the space dictated much of the wedding’s décor. Since it was already decked out with chandeliers, stained glass windows and vintage treasures, the couple stuck to classic style elements and a neutral color palette. “We had 150 friends and family filling the place to the gills with so much love and support,” says Nicole of their big day. Instead of a traditional first dance, the couple asked friends to join them for a flash-mob dance. “The practices before the ceremony were a great way to keep us connected to friends in those busy pre-wedding weeks.”
