Libby was working the outdoor bar at Bunker Hills Golf Course when she met Cole, who was playing in the men’s league. He became one of her regulars and eventually asked her out. Years later, he recreated their first date, taking her to dinner and bowling at the Medina Entertainment Center before ending the night with ice cream at Honey & Mackie’s. “He proposed on the hill by the ice cream shop where we had sat for hours talking on our first date,” Libby says. "It felt just like the beginning, but even more special the second time.”

We had so much fun during our engagement session, it felt like we were old friends just hanging out at the golf course.

Cole came up with the idea of giving their engagement session a golf theme, given their shared passion for the game, and the pair immediately agreed that Bunker Hills would make the perfect full-circle backdrop. They shared their vision with photographer Alexis Schneider of Alexis Christine Photography, who brought it to life with a laid-back flair. “Engagement sessions are so fun because they are relaxed, playful and allow for a solid foundation before the big day,” says Schneider. Immortalizing their love story, Schneider captured Libby and Cole celebrating their engagement over champagne and fun poses on the greens where they first met.
