Looking for unique entertainment to include in your wedding? Recreational axe-throwing would fit the bill. Dustin and Niki Knight started their company, United States Axe, in March 2020 at their Alexandria location. Since then, they have expanded to four locations, in addition to four mobile throwing units. They typically bring their mobile units to weddings, work team-building events, parties, fairs and breweries.

For weddings or bachelor or bachelorette parties, the Knights recommend booking a two-hour session at one of their physical locations in which you will begin with a safety brief, instructions for throwing, and one-on-one coaching in addition to guided games. At the end, participants can compete in a tournament to earn a trophy.

The owners recommend booking any of their physical locations at least a week in advance, and be aware that Saturdays are especially busy.

The process is similar for booking their mobile units, which can be easily done through their website. A mobile unit requires a flat area — grass, gravel or even a driveway will do. The mobile unit can be booked at an hourly rate, but remember that the more guests you have, the more time you should book. Dustin and Niki have traveled everywhere from North Dakota to Florida, so this unusual entertainment option is best to be booked well in advance, ideally as soon as you know your date.

United States Axe will not only provide unique, fun entertainment for you and your guests, but it will also generate remarkable photographs and help everyone loosen up and further enjoy your special day. St. Cloud, unitedstatesaxe.com
