Tiffany Xiong describes her meet-cute with future husband David Yang as a classic “small-town girl meets a city boy” tale. When they decided to tie the knot, they had a clear vision in mind. Tiffany explains, “Growing up, I’ve always dreamed of a wedding with beautiful natural sunlight gleaming through big windows with all-white interiors, and my wedding day brought that dream to life.” The morning of their big day, the pair hosted a private first look followed by the exchange of intimate vows that set the tone for the day. As the bright sun broke through the venue’s large windows, dispelling the morning fog, their photographer captured enchanting, romantic moments in the ceremony room. David, hand in hand with his mother, and Tiffany, escorted by her father, walked down the aisle, a moment of pride for both families. “Being the oldest daughter and him being the oldest son, just seeing the faces of our parents looking so proud of their kids’ accomplishments makes my heart so warm.” Both hailing from Hmong families, they wanted to honor their roots while embracing the American dream. The venue’s high, vaulted ceilings and large windows allowed the perfect amount of sunlight, leaving Tiffany feeling like she was in heaven. The new Mr. and Mrs. honored their heritage by serving guests traditional Hmong desserts including steamed layer cakes, cassava cake, fried sesame balls and steamed wheat cakes. Among the couple’s cherished moments? Taking sunset photos, when the newlyweds shared a few private moments away from the crowd.
