Remember those grainy home movies your mom and dad used to make you watch? They may have been corny, but they were also classic. Even though technology has long since improved, those old films managed to capture something telling and true. Why not bring back one of those retro cameras to help you tell the story of your own wedding day?
Kevin Johnston of Baby Blue Tux Films uses a 1970s-era Super 8 movie camera to chronicle your event, then transfers the film into a digital format, presenting couples with a unique video of their wedding day, set to music of their choosing. His films, he says, have a modern vintage vibe. “They’re different from other wedding videos out there,” he says. “They have an artistic look and feel and are an eclectic timepiece you can watch over and over.” Rates are comparable to a traditional videographer.
