While the already wedded couple exchanged vows, John surprised both his wife and their guests with a serenade of John Legend’s “All of Me” he had taken private lessons to perform. Known for hosting incredible parties with extravagant food, their cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres wowed guests, featuring delicacies such as scallop crudo, foie gras and freshly shucked oysters. The color palette of the décor transitioned throughout the event, with lavender as the constant—from soft pastels during the cocktail hour, to moodier purples at dinner, and culminating in vibrant fuchsia and red lighting for the lively after-party. After a decadent five-course meal with wine pairings, the Babylon-inspired after party exploded with energy, guests dancing to music with live accompaniment. John and Andrea surprised guests once again with their second dance—a salsa performance complete with cold sparks and an outfit change.
