Northern Stacks is Offering a Free Wedding Venue Rental for a Frontline Worker
Northern Stacks Events is a brand-new wedding venue opening in Fridley, with seating for up to 175 people. It is an industrial style, warehouse venue with beautiful exposed brick walls and industrial chandeliers. The venue is housed in the same building as Forgotten Star Brewing Company, a brewery that opened back in November, 2019.
The building has a rich history of adapting to change in our world during difficult times. Northern Pump Company manufactured water pumps for firefighting from 1929 to 1941, until the facility had to shift operations during World War II and create guns for Naval battleships. Forgotten Star Brewing Company has continued to lead the way with supporting non-profits and hosting frequent blood drives. The brewery also recently offered a free keg of their NorthStar Cream Ale to any couples who book their wedding at Northern Stacks Events that had to reschedule as a result of the current pandemic.
In keeping with the tradition, Northern Stacks Events is hosting a giveaway for a free wedding venue rental for a frontline worker (healthcare worker, police, fire, EMS) who has been forced to postpone or reschedule their wedding due to COVID-19. Couples will need to submit their story to Northern Stacks Events via email at: email@example.com or on their Facebook or Instagram. Tell them about yourself and your partner, your story, and what it would mean to be able to have your wedding at Northern Stacks Events. One lucky couple will be chosen on May 29th and will be given a date of their choosing.
“These are uncertain times for everyone,” says Jesse, the owner. “As a Marine veteran and firefighter myself, this is a small token of gratitude. We all appreciate what each and every person is doing on a daily basis.”
Northern Stacks Events will be open for public tours once the stay-at-home order is lifted. For questions, Jesse Wilken can be reached at 763-331-4177 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
