Spring/Summer 2020

Congratulations on your engagement, dear reader! My oh my, that ring looks good on you.

Now that you’re officially betrothed, it’s time to start thinking about your wedding day. Whether you’ve envisioned it for years with scrapbooks-turned-Pinterest boards, or you never really thought much about weddings until your beloved dropped down on one knee, this is your opportunity to plan a wedding that’s perfect for the two of you.

As you start browsing for inspiration and ideas, your vision will start to come into focus: What do you want this wedding to look like, anyway? As a bride, one of the first things you’ll do (and surely one of the most fun) is select your wedding dress. Go ahead, visit a few shops, try on lots of different styles, get lost in a sea of tulle and lace. In this issue, we have some of 2020’s hottest trends to inspire you, including a roundup of styles fresh off the runway, ultra-romantic dresses for a fairy-tale wedding and contemporary gowns and accessories for the unconventionally minded.

Then there’s décor, where you get to dress up your venue. Whether you’re a minimalist or want to go over the top, you’ll want to pick a vibe and palette, and go from there. In the pages that follow, we happen to have décor ideas galore. Think color inspiration, with some of the season’s freshest combos, the most wow-worthy floral arrangements and installations and wedding theme inspiration that’s totally fresh.

Speaking of fresh looks, we’re debuting one of our own here at Minnesota Bride. This issue presents a sparkling new redesign with reimagined layouts and story design. We're also introducing a beautifully textured matte finish for our cover.

We're loving our new style, and we hope you do, too: New year, new us, new you.

Wishing you happy wedding planning and a fabulous wedding day,
