Reann Phaneuf and Travis Fogelberg met through Tinder, but the encouragement of friends helped them brave their first date fears. The proposal took place in their kitchen, followed by champagne and dinner at the same restaurant as their first date. Wedding festivities took place on a perfect fall weekend, with family and friends helping prepare for and participate in the service. The bride’s uncle officiated, and the bride’s grandmother and groom’s uncle did the readings. The bridesmaids’ dresses and flowers incorporated autumn tones of green and burnt orange, and a stunning custom arbor spray graced the entry arch. In another installation, greenery climbed along the side of the fireplace, which was the backdrop for the ceremony, and the same installation was then repurposed for the reception. The guests dined on walleye and sirloin, followed by cake pops and cupcakes. “It was a day filled with many laughs, hugs, tears and happiness,” says Reann. “It was the fall wedding of our dreams.”
