Shannon McKee got a summer job at a restaurant during college, and it was there that she developed a crush on her manager, Matthew Linse. It took until after she graduated for them to get together, but they both soon realized that they had something special. “I knew from the moment I met him that I liked him, and once we started to date, things moved quickly,” Shannon says. For their wedding, they wanted to convey the coziness when you’re inside on a cold, winter night, and they picked their venue for its old feel and rustic touches like exposed brick, wood floors, string lights and homey chandeliers. The greatest gift of all on the couple’s wedding day? The weather. “It snowed!” Shannon says. “That was my dream, to get pictures in the snow.” Thank you, Mother Nature, for coming through.
