STOCK & BOND

Downtown Minneapolis’ Farmers & Mechanics Savings Bank building has a new tenant: a classic steakhouse with a contemporary edge. STOCK & BOND (@stockandbondmn) is a love letter to the nation’s agricultural industry, paying homage through traditional dishes, heritage steaks and an extensive list of American whiskey—300 bourbons, ryes and Tennessee whiskeys, to be exact. Upon entering, guests feel as though they’ve been transported to the Art Deco era, where conversations over divine fare rule the evening (not a screen in sight!). Its five private dining spaces are each a feast for the senses, accommodating groups ranging from eight to 24 guests. With three set dinner menus, every experience can be tailored to suit the celebration, whether that includes mini-Wellingtons and caviar tots as canapés or a savory seafood tower. In addition to evening offerings, Stock & Bond also serves mouthwatering breakfast and lunch menus. Anyone else hungry?

THE CEDARHURST MANSION

Bellagala does it again! The powerhouse group has added a restoration project to its impressive venue repertoire. THE CEDARHURST MANSION (@thecedarhurstmansion) is set to open its doors in Spring 2027. The sprawling 13-acre 1860s Cottage Grove estate will maintain its historic integrity throughout the restoration process. One of the most anticipated elements of the project is the revival of the rose garden; Bellagala is building a 4,000-square-foot atrium to highlight the property’s natural beauty. In addition to The Atrium, the estate will feature The Mansion, The Historic Ballroom, two private getting-ready spaces and five ceremony locations. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Cedarhurst Mansion is an ideal venue for couples looking to bask in the bygone era and add to the estate’s legacy as they begin their next chapter together.

THE GARTER TOSS

What do you get when you combine the spirit of Las Vegas, the ambience of Miami in the ’80s and the charm of dive bars? THE GARTER TOSS (@thegartertoss) is the only answer. Owner Eva Johnson set out to create a never-before-seen locale to tie the knot at a lower cost than a traditional venue, and the result is totally rad. Located in North Saint Paul, the kitschy chapel sits conveniently between two dive bars and within walking distance of a florist, bakery, tattoo shop, antique stores and an array of bars (they even share the building with a vintage dress shop). Guests can bring in their own food and beverages to accommodate everyone in the celebration, while an assortment of veils and faux florals is available for use. “In Minnesota, there is no waiting period once you apply for your marriage license,” Johnson explains. “If a couple decides on a Tuesday that they want to get married, I could make it happen.

THE QUINLAN ROOM BY DAKOTA

If you’re into music, you may already know the well-established Dakota Jazz Club, located in the heart of downtown at 1010 Nicollet Mall. Now, Dakota has expanded beyond intimate concerts with the opening of THE QUINLAN ROOM (@quinlanroom) at 901 Nicollet Mall in the Young Quinlan Building. The nearly 10,000-square-foot space boasts unmatched architectural details and Old-World charm. The fresh concept also includes arched windows, a romantic mezzanine and a standout marble staircase made for a dramatic grand entrance. With endless opportunities for customization and a timeless atmosphere, The Quinlan Room is excited to welcome nearlyweds as they step into forever.

THE JOURNEY

A storied gem in the Loring Park neighborhood, THE JOURNEY (@thejourneyevents_mn), located in Loring Corners, originally served as the headquarters for The Fawkes Auto Company. Rich with history, the space blends old-school character, industrial beauty and elegant design, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for any celebration. Modern sophistication is the theme of the Joy Suite, where gold accents and marble set a luxe tone, while the Journey Suite leans into the masculine vibe of the industrious locale. The Main Hall features exposed brick, chic chandeliers and an abundance of natural light from an authentic garage door that opens to Fawkes Alley. The European-inspired alley can host an al fresco cocktail hour and serves as a chic background for photos. The intimate space also features a full bar space and an open-concept layout that is ideal for gathering. Dedicated to being a part of people’s stories, The Journey is the perfect place for couples seeking a unique backdrop for their wedding day.
