Amy Peppe and Eric Smith had an arranged marriage of sorts: Amy’s sister introduced the couple as freshmen in high school and used to refer to Eric as Amy’s future husband. Nine years later, the two turned her prophecy into reality when they wed at Rush Creek Golf Club. Although they originally intended to hold their ceremony on Rush Creek’s patio at sunset, Mother Nature had other plans. “It rained, which ended up working out great,” says Amy. “We got married in front of a huge stone fireplace in the ballroom, and it was just right. It ended up being very intimate and special.” Friends and family did everything from hair and makeup to photographing the big day. “We were showered with love no matter where we were throughout the day,” Amy says.
