Inspiration is all around us, especially in nature. This wedding theme, styled by MAVEN, used geodes’ lush hues and organic shape for inspiration. Designer Jess Bruggink translated that motif into an invitation suite using clean type, a marbled pattern and a splash of metallic.

The benefits of hosting an event in an industrial space, such as Minneapolis’s Tattersall Distilling, are endless: vast space, chic exposed wood and metal elements, and a blank slate for your dream décor—and for Tattersall in particular, a creative staff well-versed in spirits. You can add your own luxurious touches with copious candles and florals.

It’s almost too pretty to eat. (Almost.) Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe constructed this four-tiered geometric cake using hexagonal cutouts, a rich sapphire tone and an oversized marbled layer. (Recognize that pattern from the invitation?)

(b)
As a nod to the metallic color scheme, MAVEN arranged this elegant bouquet—weaving orchids, ranunculus, willow, poppies and more in shades of ivory and chestnut.

What makes for a good photo op on your wedding day makes for an even better home accessory every day after. This hand-painted wooden sign by Signs of Life by Annie serves as a forever keepsake.

Cheers! Brainstorm with your catering team to devise a signature drink (or two—one for you, one for your partner) that’s a liquid reflection of your personality. When in doubt, remember: You can never go wrong with Champagne.

Don’t hold back on the glam. Frank Murphy Fashions luxury boutique in White Bear Lake outfitted the ladies in glittering gowns, while their carefree hair and makeup—loose waves, playful braids—add a polished but not too fussy finish.

Iridescent votives, ranunculus blooms and an elegant name card tucked into a geode make for an unforgettable place setting. The geodes make for an unforgettable favor, too.

Months before the big day, give your guests a peek at the party to come with an invitation that reflects your décor theme. An invite as beautiful as this one by Minneapolis designer Jess Bruggink is likely to hang on their refrigerators long after you’ve said your “I do’s.”
