A Venue with a View

There are many noteworthy things about Shindig, the new downtown Minneapolis venue run by Blue Plate Restaurant Co. (so you know it has good food), but the top of that list just might be the top of the building itself—the rooftop.

Smaller parties of 40 to 75 guests can enjoy 20-story views of Target Field, U.S. Bank Stadium and the Mississippi River. The rooftop is also an indoor/outdoor space, which means you can enjoy the stunning views year-round.

For bigger shindigs (sorry/not sorry), the main event space can hold 125 people for a seated dinner reception or 175 for cocktails.

“One thing that sets Shindig apart is our culinary-driven menu,” says event sales manager Melanie Burley. “Many of our couples are foodies—they want a great wedding that they can remember for the rest of their lives, but also want to host an event where their guests will enjoy themselves. Many of our couples also live and work downtown and want their friends and family to experience the lively downtown neighborhood.”

Good food and good views—it doesn’t get much better than that. Shindig, Minneapolis, 612.276.1111, shindigevent.com
