Samantha Hart and Mick Hughes had their first date on Cinco de Mayo 2018 in California, got engaged during Fashion Week in New York, where Samantha had been modeling, and had the perfect farm wedding with friends and family from across the country. (“We took every precaution,” Samantha notes.) The couple sought a venue with lots of space and natural light for their formal wedding with a sophisticated, romantic feel. Willow trees and grassy, open spaces graced their outdoor ceremony site, with soft blues, purples and pinks mingling in the attendants’ attire and floral arrangements. The couple’s dog, Kiera, played ring bearer; at the reception, and guests sipped on drinks named for the couple’s pets. A very special moment came right after the ceremony. “After changing our wedding date two times, we found out we were pregnant. We were so excited,” Samantha says. Since getting together with friends and family was so hard in 2020, they surprised their guests with a gender reveal, announcing via blue smoke and confetti that they would soon welcome a baby boy.
Samantha and Mick's nuptials had an elegant, whimsical vibe.
