Inspired by the vibrant colors of Santorini and the coastal elegance of Montauk, Jessica Scheu and Max Berkleman’s wedding day was truly one-of-a-kind. When venue searching, it only made sense the two choose their go-to spot, Woodhill Country Club in Wayzata. With perfectly manicured grounds and unmatched views of rolling greens, it was the ideal locale for the couple’s chic nuptials. Before the ceremony, the bride and Father of the groom had a sentimental first look where Jessica gifted him a tie with a photo of him and the groom when he was a child. For “I do,” Jessica’s bridesmaids were by her side donning white gowns and held bouquets of pink roses, adhering to the theme of the day. To pay homage to their beloved country club and passion for golf, guests found their seats on the “par-tee” escort wall with golf balls and tees. As a focal point of the design, bold florals of roses and orchids decorated the reception as a grand floral ring installation bowered above.
“The fact that we had a completely pink monochrome floral palette was something I had never designed,” Lexie Cummings of Availed Events said. “It was elegant, bold and truly fit the bride’s personality.” Tables were adorned with crisp white linens and pops of blue, echoing the coastal vibe the couple was going for. Jessica changed into a show-stopping gold gown to dance the night away to the live band while guests enjoyed the gourmet sundae bar, sweetest ending to the unforgettable day. “There was just so much love and intentionality that was brought into this day, it was truly wonderful to be a part of it!” Lexie said.
