Resort-themed Wedding at Madden's on Gull Lake

Hannah Swenson grew up going to Madden’s resort each summer, and when she introduced it to Vinny Herelle, he loved it, too. So holding it at Madden’s was an easy choice for their resort-themed wedding. “Our location was the most special part of our wedding,” Hannah says. “My grandparents started going to Madden’s resort over 55 years ago. This tradition has carried on for three generations and will continue for many more. We couldn’t wait to share our very favorite place with our very favorite people.” To decorate the already charming resort, they used bright pops of pink florals (Vinny chose the pink-and-navy color scheme), sailboats, and anchors (Hannah lobbied for the nautical accents). “The love surrounding us was tangible,” Hannah says of the day. “Vinny and I will never forget how it felt to stand next to each other making our forever vows.”
