Lindsey & Robert: Spring Wedding at the Minnesota Boat Club

Lindsey Giaquinto and Robert Smith met at St. Olaf College during a game of bocce ball, so it was fitting that their spring wedding at the Minnesota Boat Club was full of fun and games. The club’s sprawling lawn was the perfect setting for the couple’s outdoor ceremony, and the clubhouse made for an elegant space for the reception. “We loved how serene and out of the way our venue felt, even though it’s right next to downtown St. Paul,” says Lindsey. Some of their favorite things about their wedding day were the personal touches like the family photos displayed at the reception, the necklace Lindsey borrowed from her mother and the heartfelt toasts by family and friends. But the ultimate highlight was walking back down the aisle as husband and wife. “With all our friends and family beaming at us, it really felt like a joyous moment,” says Lindsey.
